Longlux 8057LG: Budget- Friendly alternate to the Patek Philippe?

After 1 month, another watch was added to the collection once again, and this time, it was a different one—something similar to the thousand-dollar Patek Philippe 5711 Nautilus, but for a low price.

The Longlux 8057LG, a homage to the Patek Philippe 5711 Tiffany, just cost ₱542($9.36). Well, as for the color, it is not the same. The dial color on the Longlux is more of a Cyan. It is also equipped with Mechanical Automatic movement

The 8057LG also has different colorways: White Gold, Black, Sky Blue, Dark Blue, Gold, Black Gold, and White.

Dimensions

The 8057LG has a case diameter of 42.5mm and a case thickness of 13.5mm. The rounded octagonal shape of its bezel resembles the Patek 5711. According to the description, the bandwidth of the product ranges from 20-24mm, and the band length extends up to 23cm. The bracelet comes in a split-type pin, so you will need a tool to adjust this. As for the lug-to-lug measurement, unfortunately, I have no tool to measure it. The case is probably made of alloy.

Features

It is equipped with an automatic movement and see-through glass case back, but I am unsure about this type of movement. Longlux could improve the small date window on the 3 o’clock position because it is too small. Based on my observation, the watch’s power reserve lasts 33 hours. The strap is stainless steel and includes a butterfly clasp. Based on the product’s description, the watch comes in a hardlex glass and a 30-meter water resistance. Aside from those, it also has a lume from the dial markings, minute and hour hand, and upon observing, the lume only lasts for 5 minutes.

Verdict

Overall, it is a good watch for this price. It fits nicely on my 6.5-inch wrist, although it is loose, even though I adjusted the bracelet. It is a recommendable and affordable watch. Suggestion: If you are a fan of skeleton watches, Longlux also has one similar to this but with a skeletonized one. I was hoping for a hand-hacking, but it did not have one.
